Overview

ADS-B overcomes limitations in the current National Airspace System. These limitations come from systems that rely on interrogation from traditional radar.

ADS-B can also increase situational awareness for the pilot with free ADS-B Traffic and Weather information. On May 27, 2010, the FAA published the ADS-B OUT rules contained in 14 CFR §91.225 and §91.227. The rules become effective on January 1, 2020 for the transmission of precise location and other information about the aircraft to ADS-B ground stations and other ADS-B equipped aircraft. ADS-B mandates have been adopted globally for 1090 MHz (ES) called "extended squitter and 978 MHz called "UAT" within the United States. BendixKing provides a Fusion of Next Generation Avionics for the Next Generation Airspace by BendixKing and Honeywell for you, our customer.

ADS-B Receiver and UAT Transmitter with optional WI F I, best optimized for the those who fly below 18,000 feet. Also includes an integrated ADS-B OUT Compliant WAAS GPS. The KGX 150T provides the ADS-B traffic and weather services to non-certified wireless tablet or certified compatible panel display. An optional Control Head is available for additional ADS-B required information and annunciations.

KGX 150 R UAT Receiver with WAAS GPS

ADS-B Receiver with optional WIFI, best optimized for those who fly above and below 18,000 feet or want to replace their existing transponder with the KT 74 1090 extended squitter transponder. Also includes an integrated ADS-BOUT Compliant WAAS GPS. The KGX 15OR provides the ADS-B traffic and weather services to non-certified wireless tablet or certified compatible panel display. No external controller is needed.

KGX 130 T UAT Transceiver - No GPS

ADS-B Receiver and UAT Transmitter with optional WI FI, best optimized for those who fly below 18,000 feet. The KGX 130T uses your existing WAAS Garmin GNS 430W/530W GPS and provides the ADS-B traffic and weather services to non-certified wireless tablet or certified compatible panel display. An optional Control Head is available for additional ADS-B required information and annunciations.

KT 74 Transponder

The KT 74 supports the ADS-B OUT 1090-ES improvements needed to optimize efficiency and situational awareness, within the Air Traffic System. The KT 74 is also a plug and play slide-in replacement for the popular BendixKing KT 76A/C and KT 78 Transponders. Along with additional trade-up values from Bendix King, the KT 74 is an economical upgrade path for ADS-B OUT*.
