BendixKing to Host New Products at AEA
The 62nd Annual AEA International Convention and Trade Show will take place in Palm Springs, California, March 25th through the 27th. It’s known for being the largest gathering of general aviation avionics manufacturers, distributors and government-certified repair stations in the world. BendixKing will be in attendance, exhibiting exciting new products such as engine data monitoring, autopilot systems and mandates.
Here’s what to look for at this year’s event:
Autopilots
AeroCruze 100: It’s flexible, digital and compatible with Cessna 172, 175, 177, 180 and Piper PA 28 aircraft. You can choose between three form factors: 2” round, 3” round, or rectangular. Standard features include: two standard servos, built-in ground track DG, track select mode, GPS navigation mode, altitude hold, automatic pitch trim and more.
xCruze 100: Available in three form factors: 2” round, 3” round, or rectangular, is a new low-cost autopilot for experimental aircraft. It features all of the same features as the AeroCruze 100, but priced for experimental, light sport and other non-certified aircraft.
Engine Data Monitors
xPoint 100: An engine monitoring system designed for experimental, light sport and other non-certified aircraft, it is extremely compact, weighing only 13 ounces. It includes advanced capabilities such as it’s high-resolution display, providing nearly perfect legibility. It offers a wide variety of engine parameter displays from Turbine Inlet Temperature (TIT) to fuel flow.
AeroPoint 200: Designed for certified single engine aircraft, providing advanced and accurate high resolution display. Simple yet powerful, the proven technology acts as an on-board engineer, displaying a menu of critical and informational parameters for a variety of engines and aircraft.
AeroPoint 300: Designed for certified twin engine aircraft and includes a built-in learning procedure for leaning, offering detailed diagnostic information in a timely and useful format. Features include monitoring engine temperatures and voltages, adjusting the fuel/air mixture, and diagnosing engine malfunctions.
Transponders
The MST 70B 1090 ES is an ADS-B compliant transponder equipped with certified WAAS GPS. It modernizes the original MST 67A by preserving the mounting rack and connectors, saving you thousands in installation costs. It’s certified for most business aircraft, lightweight with low power consumption and has an optional ADS-B UAT transceiver for weather and traffic.
KGX 150/130 : The KGX 150/130 series offers an ADS-B Out certified solution with an integrated WAAS GPS for flights below 18,000, offering an optional wireless capability to display traffic and weather on a tablet such as an MFD or iPad. The KGX 130 transceiver is identical to the KGX 150, excluding the WAAS GPS. Both KGX series can be paired with existing Mode A/C transponders designed to maximize inside-the-cockpit configuration flexibility and outside-the-cockpit situational awareness.
