The KA 120 converter takes serial data output and changes it to parallel input. It takes input from up to two navigational receivers and creates two sets of output information: one set for distance measuring equipment (DME) and one for glideslope. You can tune either parallel output from either serial input. Or you can tune both outputs from the same input, offering a lot of flexibility. Both parallel outputs have a high impedance state for working without interference alongside other controls. The KA 120 has a hold function that keeps DME parallel information if you lose DME tuning information while on hold mode.
You can mount the KA 120 vertically or horizontally. Available with or without a rack.
Use with the KN 61, KN 65A, KN 73, KN 75, KI 214, KX 155, and KX 165.
