KI 229

The KI 229 RMI displays the magnetic heading of your aircraft and magnetic bearings

Known for its reliability, KI 229 radio magnetic indicator displays the magnetic heading of your aircraft (slaved off the KCS 55A or KCS 305 Compass System) and magnetic bearings for either a VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) or an automatic direction finder (ADF). It does this with two needles read over a compass card.

Use the versatile KI 229 with the following navigational receivers: KN 53, KNR 615, KNR 630/631/632/633, KNR 634, KNR 665, and KNR 665A. You can also employ it with the KNS-80 and KNS-81 area navigational systems. It works well with the KCS 305 and KCS 55/55A compass systems and the KR 87 and KDF 806 automatic direction finder receivers. Available with 14/28 or 5 volt lighting. TSO'd.
