Fly Your Dash 8 into the Future with an AeroVue Cockpit Upgrade

Your de Havilland Dash 8 fleet will be ready to fly far into the future when you move on up to the AeroVue Integrated Flight Deck from Voyageur Aviation Corp. and BendixKing. Voyageur is developing a supplemental type certificate (STC) to install the BendixKing AeroVue in Dash 8 100, 200 and 300 aircraft.

Based on technologies used in Primus Epic and Primus Apex systems that fly in thousands of air transport and business jets aircraft, the AeroVue system sets new standards of performance, reliability and value for the Dash 8, said Jeff Cooke, Vice President Voyageur Aviation Corp. Aerotech Division.

“AeroVue is the best option for regional airlines and other operators looking to improve performance, enhance reliability and reduce costs of their Dash 8 fleets,” he said. “At Voyageur we have the experience and the know-how to replace obsolete avionics systems with the modern, efficient AeroVue flight deck with minimum downtime so operators can get their aircraft back in the air, generating revenue.” The STC will also be available to operators as a kit.

AeroVue offers the industry-leading SmartView Synthetic Vision and Integrated Navigation (INAV) with Graphical Flight Planning. The BendixKing three large 12-inch advanced LCD screens offer the clearest picture available in the aviation industry, providing Dash 8 pilots with unprecedented view-ability and situational awareness.

The AeroVue panel includes two primary flight displays, one for each pilot, which provide a wide range of flight-critical information in a clear, easy-to-read format. The SmartView Synthetic Vision system, gives flight crews a realistic view of their surroundings day or night, whatever the weather.

A multifunction display in the center of the panel provides INAV information, vertical profile with terrain, integrated caution advisory functions and digital moving map displays. AeroVue also features an air transport level flight management system and flight director combination.
